Haosail brings the new copper alloy fish net to Australian Tuna fishing farming companies in Port Lincoln

In mid of Oct, Haosail machinery paid a visit to Australian Tuna fishing farms in Port Lincoln, South Australia. Leading by its diretor Mr. Li hong, to introduce their copper alloy fish net for the benifit to the tuna farming companies.

Duiring the visit, we found that the most serious problem for the farmers is also the biological growth/attachment on the net, the same as Chinese farmers. With the introduction of Haosail’s new copper alloy fish net, local farmers gets to know this new material and understand its roles can be played in the tuna fishing industry.

  1. It can inhibit the biological growth on the net, to provide better water exchange rate in the cage, for fish’s better growth for higher fish output. And it can highly reduce the regular maintenance cost.
  2. It can prevent the damage of the cage net system by the predators like shark and seals, since the srength of the alloy net is more than 800Mpa, greatly higher than normal soft mateial nets.
  3. It is environment friendly and can be 100% recycled after 8-10 years long service life.

In this trip, a few fish farming companies showed high interest on Haosail new copper alloy fish net, and start to the discussion for a trial use of it in a small cage first. Haosail’s copper alloy fish net and its mooring products etc will bring many benefits of the Tuna farming industry in Port Lincoln in the near future.
