The Third Plenary Session of the 13th Provincial Party Committee proposed to comprehensively promote the construction of a strong maritime province and make new breakthroughs in building a new maritime Guangdong. As the first provincial laboratory and regional major innovation platform approved to be set up in western Guangdong, Zhanjiang Bay Laboratory has built five research centers, namely, intelligent marine equipment, marine green Energy development, marine biological resources development, intelligent fishery and integrated development, established three academician workstations (rooms), including Academician Lin Jun and Academician Liu Shaojun, and won the world’s first deep sea intelligent fishery breeding platform (Zhanjiang Bay No.1) Representative scientific research achievements include the development of a fully submersible suspended fixed depth column stable comprehensive experimental breeding platform (Haita 1) and the first domestic marine electromagnetic vibrator test prototype.
With the completion of the park, relevant enterprises have entered, which will add new momentum to the construction of Guangdong as a strong maritime province. The Fishery Big data Center is committed to achieving the unified management of the deep and offshore aquaculture system, digital empowerment of the whole industrial chain of marine production, and the preparation of the fishery aquaculture standard system, which helps the collection, storage and integration of fishery data, avoids the formation of “data islands”, and lays a normative foundation for the development of fishery Big data. At the same time, the Fisheries Big data Center has developed a knowledge base system for deep and offshore aquaculture to provide intelligent decision support for intelligent control, precision operation, aquaculture early warning, etc. In addition, the land sea linkage technology chain and industrial chain are driven by a dual line collaboration, promoting the rapid development and industrial landing of intelligent breeding equipment and systems.
