Deep blue No.1″ is the world’s largest deep-reaching marine aquaculture heavy truck fully Submersible Cage, which was jointly designed by Ocean University of China and Hubei ocean engineering equipment research institute and built by Qingdao Wuchuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. with an investment of 110million yuan from Rizhao wanzefeng fishery Co., Ltd. The cage has a circumference of 180m, a height of 38m, a weight of about 1400t, an effective breeding depth of 30 meters, a diameter of 60.44 meters, and the entire breeding water body of about 50000 cubic meters. The designed annual fish production is 1500t, and 50000 salmon can be cultivated at the same time. It was officially put into use in the Yellow Sea in early July 2018. The full submersible aquaculture platform is a far-reaching marine aquaculture heavy vessel developed based on the green concept in China. Using the submarine sinking and floating control technology, combined with the development experience of Norway’s “ocean fishing ground No. 1”, and integrating the Yellow Sea cold water mass salmon aquaculture technology, it has created a unique far-reaching marine full submersible salmon aquaculture mode in China.
