What marine fish are mainly cultivated in China?
1、 Large yellow croaker
The large yellow croaker, a species of the family Sciaenidae, is one of the traditional “four major seafood” (large yellow croaker, small yellow croaker, hairtail, and squid). It is the main economic fish in China’s coastal waters, mainly inhabiting coastal and coastal sandy bottom waters. The cultivation areas of large yellow croaker in China are mainly concentrated in Fujian, Guangdong, and Zhejiang, with Fujian’s production accounting for about 90% of the national production.
2, sea bass
Perch is one of the common economic fish species in the Perch genus and is also a type of marine aquaculture. It is widely distributed in the ocean, both in the Pacific and Atlantic waters. Its main producing areas in China include Qingdao, Shidao, Qinhuangdao, Zhoushan Islands, and other places. The fishing ban is in spring and autumn, with October to November being the fishing ban every year.
3, catfish
Paralichthys olivaceus is a general term for the family Paralichthyidae, mainly distributed in tropical and temperate waters. In coastal areas of China, there are Paralichthys olivaceus, flatfish, spotted flounder, and so on. In recent years, the production of catfish farming has always been at the forefront of marine fish farming. Liaoning, Shandong, and Jiangsu are the main production areas of catfish in China, with a production of 131000 tons in 2015 and 126000 tons in 2014.
4, grouper
Grouper is a general term for the subfamily Grouper, named after its unique stripes and markings. Belonging to the middle and lower layers of coastal warm water fish, they mainly inhabit rocks, underwater caves, and coral reefs with gaps. The varieties of grouper cultivated include red spotted grouper, dragon tiger spotted grouper, oblique spotted grouper, tiger spotted grouper, saddle spotted grouper, cloud patterned grouper, brown spotted grouper, blue spotted grouper, mouse spotted grouper, shirt spotted grouper, money spotted grouper, dragon spotted grouper, etc.
5、 Anchovy
Headfish is a kind of deep-sea fish in warm water, belonging to the family Fishes, subfamily swim bladders, and the family Fishes. In Japan, anchovy has been cultivated for decades and has become the most important aquaculture target in Japan. Now, anchovy has been tried in southern China, and anchovy is also cultivated along the coast of Guangdong, Fujian and Zhejiang.
7. Golden pomfret
Golden pomfret is the most common sea fish in fresh supermarkets and vegetable markets due to its tender meat, delicious taste, and thick meat with few bones. Golden pomfret farming mainly includes fish raft farming (offshore cage farming), offshore deep water cage farming, and soil pond farming. Soil pond farming is generally a mixed culture of shrimp and crab. With the development and improvement of breeding technology, the production of golden pomfret is high, the price is affordable, and it is very popular among consumers.
Haosail’s new copper alloy fish net has five advantages to help the deep sea aquaculture of these valuable fishes:
1. Wear resistance and seawater corrosion resistance;
2. Preventing biological attachment: Excellent permeability can improve the water quality environment for fish growth, effectively reduce pest and disease losses, and also reduce the maintenance cost of regular cleaning of nets;
3. High tensile strength: The tensile strength of the single wire of the net clothing reaches 1373Mpa, which is 150% of the pure copper net clothing single wire strength, which increases the effective breeding volume (over 20%) and reduces the risk of fish escaping;
4. The service life exceeds 5 years;
5. Low comprehensive cost: It is one-third of the comprehensive cost of the same volume nylon mesh and ultra-high molecular weight mesh materials.
